Ok, look. Before you go and start thinking that this is just another scheme to make a quick buck let me explain why I have a desire to start something like this. First off it is not for money related purposes at all.. if it comes to that then great but this is not what I am seeking. As I've stated in my introduction I have played the game of baseball for almost 10 professional seasons. I had the privilege of learning the game under my father, Rich Rowland, who also played professional baseball for 10 seasons. I was ahead of the curve at a very young age but that didn't stop me from continuously seeking new ways to improve my craft. The best advice that I ever received was “be a sponge.” For those of you who don’t know what that means just envision what a sponge actually does and apply that to what you can potentially do with the knowledge that is around you. At a very young age I was fascinated, almost obsessed with, the art of pitching. I was almost addicted to the act of throwing a baseball. At times it was very difficult to actually put the baseball down (still is actually). Next came the addiction to finding ways to maximize myself on the mound. With that came a lot of video studying of not only myself but of other players that were highly successful. I dug real deep into what it actually looked like to have good, fluid mechanics then the application of what I had learned into my own craft. The point of me telling you this is so that you kind of grasp that “shoot, this dude really loves throwing a baseball and everything that entails..” Bottom line is that over my years i’ve done things the wrong way… i’ve done things the right way.. and i’ve done things my way. My goal is to feed some of that information into whoever needs it and see what comes of it. But most importantly hoping to inspire as many athletes along the way. We live in a world today where we can all be “connected” with a click of a button. So why not use this as an outlet to help, inspire, motivate those that need it. This is all.. as simple as I can put it. Not to mention my low-key love for writing and being on camera.. I hope you get a chance to check things out. Contact me if necessary or just tell a friend about the site. Appreciate your time and remember to always.. always find ways to get better.
